S. Klimek
Stanisław Klimek is a photographer, publisher, educated as a mathematician. He comes from the city of Toruń but has been living in Wrocław for almost thirty years and is a great lover of this city. He eternalizes the beauty of architecture. His photographs can be found in classrooms, offices and banks. The author of albums - portraits of cities. The following albums have been published thus far:
"Wrocław" (text by R. Eysymontt), "Toruń" (text by B. Rymaszewski), "Gdańsk" (text by R. Depta), "Lower Silesia" (text by D & R Eysymontt), "Książ Castle" (text by K. Kułaga), "Trzebnica" (text by priest A. Kiełbasa). As a photographer he has been co-operating with Niels Gutschow, author of numerous works on architecture. He illustrated the following books: "Patan Museum" and "Nepalese Caitya". He also photographed panoramas of a western frontage of the Market Square in Wrocław (a background for many important events e.g. a visit of Polish Prime Minister and German Chancellor in Wrocław) and Varanasi , a city in India (exhibited in Völkerkunde Museum in Heidelberg and in the Museum of Architecture in Wrocław).

B. Maciejewska
Beata Maciejewska is a historian and a journalist of "Gazeta Wyborcza" daily. She has been focusing on the history of Wrocław for a dozen or so years. Among others she is the author of the book titled "Wrocław. A history of the city" and entries in the Encyclopedia of Wrocław. She is a laureate of a Polish-German Journalist's Prize for a series of articles "Breslau-Wrocław. Last days. First days". They tell stories of pre-war residents of Wrocław: a German woman and a man from Polish-German family who survived the Festung Breslau and witnessed the exodus of the city's residents. Her series of articles entitled "Give back our possesions", in which she covered the issue of returning relics removed from Wrocław after the war is also well known. For this initiative she received a prize in the "Culture, science and media" competition organised by Allianz, an insurance company.
